Toys We Can Never Give Up

November 5th – January 28th 2012 Opening reception Saturday November 12, 2 - 4 p.m.

Artist Hanni Sager believes that the first work of art in a person’s life is a toy. This exhibition is dedicated to Hanni, to grown-ups and children who never gave up their toys. This is the launch of an annual Creative Spirit Toy Show. We feel that Toronto is ready to embrace a Toy Collection which is universally accessible. Toy owners are asked to write a brief story about a toy and to lend the toy and story to the exhibition. There will be toys to play with, look at and reminisce about. Please, join us for a visit and bring a friend or a toy for a visit. You can leave a story about a toy, donate a toy or join the Toy Club. We want to meet people who believe in the magic of toys and the stories they have to share.

After all who doesn’t understand a Toy?

(We'd like to thank The Japanese Paper Place for providing Japanese paper as part of our exhibition installation for Toy Stories.)
