CSAC is pleased to present the Seminar “Barriers, process and goals of creating art studios for artists living with long term disabilities and the exhibition “Sons and Mothers, The Art Journey”. Please join us for a vegetarian lunch, view the art exhibition and attend the seminar.
The seminar covers the journeys of Ellen Anderson and Anne Guven dealing with the challenges to finding and creating services for their adult sons. Gabe Anderson deals with cerebral palsy and developmental disabilities. Orhan Guven lives with autism. Both Gabe and Orhan are gifted artists whose art is exhibited, and purchased in the U.S.A., Japan and Canada.
This is an opportunity for parents and professionals to learn about setting goals, learning processes and overcoming prejudices.
